Winterborne Trout have twice the amount Omega3 compared with an average UK reared trout.
This is due to the fact that Winterborne Trout are more active, in line with their wild ancestors. The trout are farmed in Dorset using ‘chalk’ based spring water by Danish Trout expert Hans Hoff. Moreover Winterborne Trout also need 30% less food to grow than traditionally farmed trout so they also have a lower environmental impact.
